推荐：黑爵士(Black Adder)，幕后危机（The Thick of it），是的，首相（大臣）(Yes, Prime Minister/Yes, Minister)
英国政治喜剧是典型的邪典电影（cultmovies），在少数追随者心中如神一般伟大，在绝大多数人看来是莫名其妙。但是请不要因为带有“政治”两个字就对它们敬而远之。虽然政治学背景有助于理解那些会心一笑地槽点，但是政治讽刺是人类共同的语言；毕竟有人的地方就有江湖，有江湖的地方就有政治，有政治的地方就有讽刺。

《BlackAdder》在英国电视剧史上的地位可以和《我爱我家》在中国的地位相媲美。在各个榜单上，BA都是名列前茅：豆瓣上四季平均9.2，BBC情景喜剧第二，IMDB百佳电视剧第41。如果你不是排名党，就冲着演员阵容也值得一看。中国人民的好朋友“憨豆先生”即是本片1号男主RowanAtkinson，而冷峻酷大叔“豪斯医生”HughLaurie则在第三季和第四季中还是脑残小鲜肉。
BA一共有四季，时空背景各异。第一季是中世纪晚期，第二季是文艺复兴，第三季是启蒙运动，第四季是第一次世界大战。除了第一季外，故事结构基本上是男一号BlackAdder和他的侍从Bladric（TonyRobinson饰）服侍逗逼老板的血泪史。考虑到背景知识的要求和制作水平，本剧的正确打开方式应该是从第四季往回看。
BA之所以成为国民喜剧，演员和台词功不可没。BA把英式幽默黑死人不偿命的特色发挥到了极致，而一干老戏骨的精彩对手戏叫人欲罢不能。所谓成也萧何，败也萧何。黑爵士在国内籍籍无名的罪魁祸首估计也是它戏剧脚本般的台词不太适合当做爆米花喜剧片看。现在，请脑补憨豆先生一本正经地念出以下台词：

和大多数英式喜剧温文尔雅的风格不同，The Thick of It的特点之一就是粗口。但是本片粗口并不是简单的扔F炸弹或者C炸弹（尽管两者的出境频率都是主角级别的），而是具有高度语言艺术的粗口。看过《九品芝麻官》的朋友可能记得星爷的绝技就是口活，但是那点口活和Malcom Tucker相比真是小巫见大巫。Guardian上评选了Malcom的十佳口活，充分体现了啥叫骂人的语言艺术：

就剧情而言，TheThick of It讲述了才高八斗、盛气凌人的首相公关主管MalcomTucker如何到处为无能的大臣和部门职员灭火，尖锐讽刺了政府官僚的无能。这一点和下面要介绍的《Yes,Minister》有异曲同工之妙。
The Thick of It有一本衍生电影，叫In the Loop，虚构了英美如何捏造引发伊拉克战争的关键文件的囧事。本片被HBO相中，拉拢了此系列的编剧ArmandoIannucci出品了美国版的TheThick of It, Veep。讲述了美国副总统办公室的各种囧事。Veep中骂人依然很有语言艺术，但是粗口的频率却大大降低。遗憾的是，要看懂Veep的笑话需要对于美国的政治体制有较深的理解。
最后值得一提的是，MalcomTucker的扮演者PeterCapaldi其实是剧场演员出身，演技相当了得。最近，他黄袍加身，在英国国宝级电视剧《神秘博士》（DoctorWho）出任第12任Doctor。相信很多Malcom粉在看新一季神秘博士时会和我一样脑补以下场景

Yes, Minister/ Yes Prime Minister是政治喜剧最杰出的的代表作，它不仅取得了艺术上的巨大成就，甚至影响到了英国政治的进程。其中SirHumphrey Appleby的形象塑造地如此深入人心，以至于其演员NigelHawthorne在1999年真的受封爵士（当然老爷子在戏剧界的成就也可圈可点）。
本剧入木三分地刻画了当代官僚体系的无能。本剧的主要人物只有三个：颇有政治野心但缺乏政治水平的政务官JimHacker，老奸巨猾且权迷心窍的资深公务员SirHumphrey Appleby以及夹在Jim和Humphrey之间左右为难的菜鸟公务员BernardWoolley。几乎每一集中，Jim都有想搞点让自己出名的花花肠子，却被Humphrey机智地挫败了；尽管如此，Humphrey还是能出人意料地拍到Jim的马屁，以一句“Yes,prime minister”收场。
该剧的台词设计充分体现了官僚弯弯绕的风格，SirNigel能一口气念下来这么多台词也是本事。以名垂青史的Sir Humphrey智斗问责委员会的一段为例。在这个片段中，Sir Humphrey把所有责任推卸给Jim，说这是政策问题；而Jim则把所有责任推卸给Sir Humphrey，说这是执行问题。于是Sir Humphrey开始解释政策和执行间的关系：
